| This is only a third of the power trail that has been placed on a section of historic route 66 GC2J17A What are ya'lls thoughts on power trails? I have done a few, but nothing like this. _________________ The fun is in the journey! |

| That is pretty awesome. It might take a couple of days to do just part of that stretch. |

| It looks like it's a shade over 800 caches all together! Teamhayes, you would be surprised how fast a well prepared group of cachers can run through a string of caches like that...The best average time I have ever gotten up to is about 1.5 per cache. so by my calculations you could do 800 caches in 20 hrs if you kept up that pace and went non-stop. I have done a power trail that was 140 caches. It was a blast! I could only imagine how much fun a non-stop 24 hour cache-a-thon would be _________________ The fun is in the journey! |

| Ok its a 34 hour drive to Barstow. The trail is 800 caches in 93 miles That is an average of 8.6 per mile. A mile is 5,280 feet that is one cache every 614 feet. If we average 3mph 31 hours of straight Caching. Self inking signature stamps. $21.88. Completing the Route 66 Power Train. Priceless. |

| Having thought about these power trails, I think a Moped/Scooter is the answer, Better yet, 1 Moped/Scooter per person and all people with the same stamp.
3 people, only stop at every third cache You do not have to get off the thing to get the cache |

| I'd ride on the back of a blind three-legged mule to get 800 caches in a day! |

| A mule is to tall.. . Perhaps you can be slung under body. Would be low to ground, provide shade. Beware of frisky mule. |

| Here is a power trail for you guys to do. It is Nevada, just northeast of Las Vegas. It is approx 1100 caches. From the trail start in the lower right to the Hwy 6 sign in the upper left is about 100 miles!! |
